Christmas in Wisconsin

Ahhhh....Christmastime!  The wonder, joy and happiness found around Christmastime always makes for sweet and cozy family gatherings.  This year was no different.  Although this was Charlie's second Christmas, it was the first one when he could actually participate and understand what was going on around him (for the most part).
We all got special gifts.  Charlie got some food to "eat" in his new play kitchen.
Malcolm got a skid steer that made him most joyful!
Dad finally got the fez he had been asking for for decades (why? you need to ask him.)
But more importantly than things, we got to spend time together sharing, laughing, and even dancing.

Charlie even experienced his first Christmas cookie.
He LOVED it!
One of my favorite memories took place at church on Christmas Eve.  The congregation opened the service singing "Hark the Harold Angels Sing."  When we completed the song, Charlie let out a loud "Yay!" and applauded!  He really likes music.
One thing that is certain about Christmas, is that there is no shortage of love to go around.  Which is exactly what the season is all about...Love.

We are so fortunate to have each other.
As Charlie says before meals...thank you Jesus!
May the peace of Christmas be with you.
