The First...in a Series of Firsts
In the first year of life, everything is new. I can't even express in words how amazing it is watching Charlie experience everything for the first time. Recently, it was finally warm enough to set Charlie in that green spikey stuff that we call....grass.
He didn't seem to know what to make of it and was very slow to touch it. So we helped him along and got his feet involved, too.
In very typical Charlie fashion, he didn't squeal with joy or delight, but just observed it, felt it, and respectfully left it alone.
But we could tell he was thinking about how that grass just rocked his world!
On a side note, those cheeks are giving Droopy Dog a run for his money.
